Professional Experience

Co-founder of The Dallas Pottery Invitational, Dallas, TX

2007-present

Mission: We invite accomplished mid to late career artists to sell their work in Dallas for a weekend with the goal to educate the public and give an overview of the field of contemporary functional ceramics.

I worked with two co-founders to design a cohesive brand through logo, website, and marketing collateral. Together we curate the annual sale, work on show design, arrange to house and feed 11 artists, run the Pairing with Partners program and maintain a social media presence. We have grown our customer base, and increase sales every year.

Co-founder of Clay Wood Cloth, Sonoma County, CA

2010-2014

Mission: Three Sonoma County craftswomen engage the community to support local artists, local businesses, and local charities.

We asked a local business to host a one day pop up shop featuring our work in exchange for a donation in their name to the charity of their choice. We donated 10% of sales to charities including: Healdsburg Animal Shelter, Healdsburg Education Foundation, Ceres Community Project, Westside School, and Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles. Together we designed a cohesive brand, website and postcard invites. We created and maintained relationships with local businesses and charities to boost business for all.

Minute Secretary- As minutes secretary I recorded meetings for our monthly newsletter received by over 500 members.
